Lotus Mission provides person-centered daytime programming for adults with autism and is based in Lower Bucks County, PA just 13 miles from Center City Philadelphia.
Lotus Mission is at the forefront of providing person-centered programming for adults with autism. We’re a 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization offering programming during weekdays. Our long-term plan is to expand into residential care.
Our goal is that your family member looks forward to attending Lotus Mission every day. We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodology to design each individual’s program for the highest possible engagement at the highest level of independence possible.
Lotus Mission is located adjacent to the Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum, a 50-acre property of gardens and woodlands. Being in such close proximity to a natural environment can provide many benefits, such as calming the senses, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving mood.
Depending on their interests, individuals can enjoy activities onsite with friends or also in the surrounding community. Your loved one can be out in the community as often or as little as you or they would like. Outings may include shopping, going to the movies, bowling, and more.
We are currently seeking founding families with an adult family member with autism to participate in the Lotus Mission weekday program and work with us as we develop a new residential solution for adults with autism. Our ultimate vision is to create a program that can be replicated in other communities.
